Gert Matthijs

Gert Matthijs is a molecular geneticist heading the Laboratory for Molecular Diagnostics at the Center for Human Genetics of the University Hospital in Leuven, Belgium, and he is a professor of human genetics at the University of Leuven. Main research interests: rare diseases and development and application of novel technologies including usage of massively parallel sequencing for genetic diagnostics.
