Gabriele Guidolotti
Gabriele Guidolotti is researcher at the Research Institute on Terrestrial Ecosystems (IRET) of the National Research Council of Italy. He obtained a Master degree in Forestry (cum laude) in 2008 and a PhD degree in Forest Ecology at the University of Tuscia in 2012. Since 2020, he is lecturer of the course “Trees and plants to improve air quality of urban areas” at University of Tuscia.
His main scientific area of interest is plant ecology and ecophysiology, with particular emphasis on the study of the impact of abiotic stressors on carbon pools and fluxes, greenhouse gases (GHG), volatile organic compounds (BVOCs) and other pollutants in the soil-plant-atmosphere continuum. Until now, he published more than 30 papers in international peer-reviewed journals and he has made up to 40 contributions in national and international conferences, achieving more than 1000 citations and an H index of 14.
