Fern Thompsett

Fern is the forum moderator for World101x. She completed her BA (Hons) in anthropology the University of Queensland, and is now working on her PhD at McGill University in Canada, where she is a recipient of the prestigious Vanier national scholarship. Her current research focuses on environmental activism in response to climate change, and she has previously written about free education movements. She also worked on Aboriginal land title cases in Queensland. She is a co-founder of the Brisbane Free University.
