Elliott obtained his Ph.D. from University of California, Riverside, and then did postdoctoral research at Princeton University and Vanderbilty University. He is a research professor at the EGADE Business School, Tecnologico de Monterrey, in Santa Fe. His research focuses on values and well-being in leadership. He is particularly interested in how people solve problems, whether in negotiation or innovative design.
