Elizabeth Gunner

Elizabeth has worked in private enterprise and the public sectors, primarily in agribusiness, with an emphasis on strategic marketing. She has worked for a major national agribusiness corporation, a significant Australian winery and a renowned dairy company, along with running a sheep and cattle grazing property. She also worked alongside her husband to build a paddock-to-plate meat business supplying their own retail stores and supplying over 300 restaurants in Australia. She is also a shareholder in Something Wild Australia, one of Australia’s only Indigenous-owned food businesses focused on sustainably sourcing the extraordinary native produce Australia has to offer to supply restaurants and consumers. Elizabeth has worked in the public sector on domestic and international industry value chain development projects, most notably in Indonesia. As the Agribusiness Outreach Program Manager for the Centre for Global Food and Resources, Elizabeth draws on all her industry experience to work on business and course development opportunities for the Centre, its stakeholders and students.
