Елена Николаева

Elena Nikolaeva is an engineer, Ph.D., Associate Professor of the Department of Mechanical Engineering Technologies and Materials, Irkutsk National Research Technical University. From 2011 to 2018 Elena was a technical Manager of the Research Laboratory "Research of Technological Residual Stresses and Deformations". She was a participant in the following R&D projects: Improvement of the aviation part production processes based on the residual stresses influence; Improvement of the aviation part production processes based on non-destructive testing techniques. Her focus area is research of microstructure of modern construction and tool materials. Elena Nikolaeva also works effectively in the fields of Barkhausen noise testing, x-ray testing, metallographic analysis of constructional steels, aluminum and titanium alloys and tool materials.
