Dorte Sindbjerg Martinsen

Dorte Sindbjerg Martinsen is Professor at University of Copenhagen, Department of Political Science. Her research focuses on EU social policy, EU free movement of persons and its impact on the welfare state, EU policy-making, including dynamics between law and politics as well as national implementation of and compliance with EU policies. Her work has appeared in Comparative Political Studies, British Journal of Political Science, Public Administration, European Law Journal, American Review of Public Administration, Journal of European Public Policy, Journal of Common Market Studies, West European Politics and European Union Politics. Martinsen is currently PI on a research project on the role of European Administrative Networks in the implementation and enforcement of EU legislation. Martinsen is co-editor of West European Politics.
