Diego Mesa Puyo

Diego Mesa Puyo is an economist with more than 10 years of experience advising governments on tax policy and revenue management issues for extractive industries. He is an Economist in the Fiscal Affairs Department (FAD) of the IMF, where he leads and participates in technical assistance missions on tax policy issues for mining and petroleum. Prior to the IMF, he was the Manger in the Consulting and Deals Practice of PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Canada. He has an M.A. in Economics from McGill University and he is also a CFA since 2012.
