Chiara Baldacchini

Chiara Baldacchini is a physicist. She got her PhD in Physics in 2006 and has been working at the National Research Council (CNR) of Italy since. Since 2019, she is a researcher at the University of Tuscia (Viterbo, Italy), but still an associated researcher of the CNR Research Institute on Terrestrial Ecosystems (IRET). Among several expertise, she has worked on NBS benefits monitoring assessment, with a particular focus on PM abatement by urban trees, both experimentally and theoretically in the last years. She is responsible for coordinating Work Package 4 on benefit assessment in H2020 project proGIreg and is an active member of the EC NBS Task Forces 1 and 2 on data storage and interoperability and impact assessment. She is co-author of 38 papers on international peer-reviewed journals, with an H-index of 19 in Scopus.
