Catherine Spann

Catherine is a Research Scientist in LINK Research Lab at the University of Texas at Arlington. She has a Ph.D. in Psychological Science with a focus on Developmental Psychology. Catherine’s research centers on the role of meditation in mental and physical health and well-being. She takes a psychophysiological approach to her research, where she focuses on the mind-body interaction. Catherine has led numerous research studies in controlled lab settings, museums, and classrooms with both children and adults on the topic of meditation and self-regulation. Outside of research, you can find Catherine somewhere outside with her dog, Georgia.
