Carmine Paolo De Salvo

Paolo es Especialista en Desarrollo Rural en el Banco Interamericano de Desarrollo, donde actualmente trabaja sobre políticas y préstamos de inversión en el sector agrícola en Haití, Surinam y Perú. Además, Paolo dirige la iniciativa AGRIMONITOR, cuyo objetivo es monitorear las políticas públicas agrícolas en América Latina y el Caribe, utilizando la metodología de Estimación de Apoyo al Productor (PSE por sus siglas en inglés). Antes de trabajar en el BID, Paolo trabajó en la división de Agricultura y Desarrollo Rural del Banco Mundial y como economista del Overseas Development Institute (ODI) para el Ministerio de Finanzas y Asuntos Económicos en Zanzíbar, Tanzania. Paolo es italiano y estudió en la Universidad de Bologna y cuenta con un Master en Economía de la London School of Economics.
