Department of Technology and Equipment for Machine-Building Production of Irkutsk national Research Technical University. Head of the Research Laboratory of High Productivity Machining. Head of the Competence Center "Advanced technologies for the production of machinery and equipment". Andrey Savilov developed a technology for high-performance machining of power parts and frames of aircraft from aluminum and titanium alloys, which allows to significantly increase the productivity of the process. The technology was tested in 2002-2015 in the production of parts for aircraft SU-30, YAK-130, BE-200, MS-21.
