Alberto Alemanno

Alberto is a legal scholar, public interest lawyer and - due to his desire to disseminate and popularize the results of his research - an academic entrepreneur. He is currently Jean Monnet Professor of Law at at HEC Paris and Global Clinical Professor at NYU School of Law where he is the Faculty Director of the HEC-NYU Regulatory Policy Clinic. At HEC, he teaches the Law of the European Union (available on iTunes U), International Economic Law, EU Affairs and Global Risk Regulation (available on iTunes U) at both undergraduate and master level (MBA) as well as in executive education programmes all over the world. He is also Adjunct Professor of Law at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches Global Risk Regulation and is fellow at the O'Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law. Prior to join the HEC faculty, he clerked for Judge Allan Rosas and Judge Alexander Arabadjiev at the Court of Justice of the European Union and for Enzo Moavero Milanesi, the current Italian Minister for European Affairs, at the European General Court. He previously worked as a Teaching Assistant at the College of Europe in Bruges. Alberto is also a qualified attorney at law in New York since 2004.
