Alan Strathman

Alan Strathman has been involved in higher education since 1990. He is a dedicated and award-winning instructor and a productive scholar, who is best known for his program of research on an aspect of time perspective called the consideration of future consequences. In 2015, he switched from higher education to primary education, serving in the United States Peace Corps as a Primary English Literacy Co-Teacher in the Eastern Caribbean. In 2018, Alan returned to higher education, continuing to teach and beginning to work with the American Psychological Association developing content for APA’s new course offerings.
