How to sew a simple face cover using quilting cotton and t-shirt yarn.This class will always be free; everyone should be able to make a mask/face cover and not have to pay for the instruction. This is a "very beginner" sewing class. You will learn how to make t-shirt yarn; cutting fabric; lining it up; sewing a thing that will be turned inside-out (this can be confusing the first time); and how to topstitch (not difficult, I promise!).
The end result will be a cute and functional mask. The pattern can be downloaded right here, and you print it out on regular, A4 paper. Everything is very simple and straightforward, and your friends will LOVE receiving one of these as a gift. I hope you enjoy this class!
Your project for this class is to apply the skills you have just learned, and sew a fabric mask. It should have t-shirt yarn for the straps, and two layers of cotton fabric.
When you have completed your project, take a photo of the mask and post it here. You can take a photo of the mask itself, or of yourself wearing it, like I am in this photo.
