The modules in this course cover setting up a Django project; understanding the relationship between views, templates, and URL patterns; introduces models and the database; styling with Bootstrap; and deploying Django.

To allow for a truly hands-on, self-paced learning experience, this course is video-free. Welcome to Week 2 of the Select Topics in Python: Django course. These assignments cover creating a Django project with a model, views and templates. You will also learn how to manage your site with the Django Admin. Bootstrap will once again be used for styling. The module ends with uploading your project to GitHub for your portfolio and graded coding exercises.

WEEK 3
Production Django
Welcome to Week 3 of the Select Topics in Python: Django course. These assignments cover preparing a Django project for a production environment. Learn how you would host the Django project on Heroku, substitute Postgres for SQLite, etc. The module ends with uploading your project to GitHub for your portfolio and graded coding exercises.
