Hey everyone, I made a bare-bones intro to Aftereffects (finally). I've been planning to make this for some time now. After this I plan to increase the difficulty level and add more photography and VFX elements into Aftereffects. Feel free to ask me any questions via email, skillshare or even my instagram : )
Make a city scape animation using the shape tool using my template file
Make sure to key frame the outline of the city and create a title animation together. I'm really passionate about city-scapes so I would love to see different cities in your example : )
- The Main Aftereffects file is called "Basics of AE"
This file has the main city scape animation, the cat tail animation, cat paw, the letter B animation, both the wiggle and the time expression (with the googly eye bead)
- I'm attaching two photoshop frame-by-frame animation files so you can see how I think while animating (Smear and Bouncing Ball) (but i animate that process using keyframes in Aftereffects
- The Textures (new) file is for the background textures that you can drag into your AE file and animate those textures in the background
