Los portafolios y las inversiones en el mercado de capitales (Coursera)

En la medida en que las personas o las entidades requieren invertir sus posiciones de liquidez en el mercado de capitales se hace necesario estudiar los activos financieros y entender el funcionamiento del mercado de valores para tomar decisiones informadas y sustentadas que permitan a los inversionistas decidir adecuadamente los niveles de riesgo-retorno que se desea tomar. Este curso aborda la idea principal de la diversificación vía la conformación de portafolio de inversión con el objetivo de maximizar la rentabilidad minimizando el riesgo.

El curso igualmente introduce los modelos básicos de inversión de largo plazo basados en la teoría de la eficiencia del mercado. El curso presenta una evolución conceptual de los elementos más básicos del entendimiento del mercado de capitales, hasta las estrategias de formación y análisis de portafolios eficientes. Al final del curso los participantes tendrán una visión general de los principales modelos y herramientas para invertir en portafolio de activos financieros.
Este curso está pensado para personas de diferentes disciplinas que quieren entender y profundizar en las estrategias básicas para invertir en el mercado de capitales con un enfoque de largo plazo. El curso de concentra en los conceptos básicos de la conformación y análisis de la riesgo - rentabilidad de los portafolios de inversión en el mercado de capitales.

WEEK 1
Precios y valor de los activos en el mercado financiero
Bienvenidos al primer módulo del curso: los portafolios y las inversiones en el mercado de capitales. En este módulo aprenderemos sobre precios y valor de los activos en el mercado financiero. De esta forma se generarán reflexiones y dilemas alrededor del concepto de valor y de precio. Finalmente, se abordará el tema de la teoría de eficiencia del mercado.

WEEK 2
Teoría de la diversificación y los portafolios
Bienvenidos al segundo módulo del curso Los portafolios y las inversiones en el mercado de capitales. En este módulo aprenderemos el concepto de portafolio y el de portafolio de mercado, así mismo entenderemos qué es el riesgo y la rentabilidad de un portafolio. A partir de estos conceptos y llevándolos a la práctica, evidenciaremos el efecto de la diversificación y así mismo empezaremos a evaluar un portafolio.

WEEK 3
Frontera eficiente y las decisiones de inversión en el mercado financiero
Bienvenidos al tercer módulo del curso Los portafolios y las inversiones en el mercado de capitales. En este módulo aprenderemos que es la frontera eficiente de Markowitz, cómo construirla y el concepto de portafolio de mercado. A partir de estos conceptos y llevándolos a la práctica, evidenciaremos cómo empieza a tomar forma las decisiones para maximizar la relación riesgo retorno de una inversión.

WEEK 4
Los modelos basicos de inversion en el mercado de capitales y su aplicación práctica
Bienvenidos al cuarto y último módulo del curso Los portafolios y las inversiones en el mercado de capitales. En este módulo aprenderemos cómo calcular la capital market line para obtener la mejor relación riesgo - rentabilidad a un nivel de riesgo. Adicionalmente aprenderemos de la security market line y el modelo del C.A.P.M. para obtener una estimación de la rentabilidad de un activo. A partir de estos conceptos y llevándolos a la práctica, evidenciaremos cómo estas herramientas te ayudan a tomar decisiones de inversión en el mercado de capitales.
