Innovación Educativa (Coursera)

El curso de Innovación Educativa tiene como intención que el estudiante conozca y aplique los conceptos de tendencias e innovación educativa. En él conocerá tendencias en educación como flipped classroom, gamificación, educación basada en competencias, etc.; así como la metodología de design thingking para llevar a cabo una innovación partiendo de una necesidad del usuario. Además, se adentrará en temas de competencias digitales, tecnologías emergentes abarcando sus ventajas y desventajas, así como modelos de incorporación de tecnología educativa.

También se tocarán temas como el impacto que la innovación tiene en el cambio educativo, sus repercusiones y cómo ver hacia el futuro desde el punto de vista de un emprendedor, además de conocer sobre gestión de un emprendimiento innovador educativo y el surgimiento de estos. También se ahondará en el tema de cultura digital y sus aspectos esenciales.
Lo anterior será posible a través de diversos recursos como videos y lecturas que le permitirán al participante tener un acercamiento a temas de innovación educativa, al mismo tiempo que reflexiona y comparte con otros participantes sobre los mismos temas e intereses.

Syllabus

WEEK 1
Innovación educativa
Bienvenido al primer módulo en el cual estudiarás los principios básicos y los procesos asociados a la innovación educativa. Recuerda que innovar es por definición realizar algo de forma novedosa; es decir, hacer algo de una forma que no se ha hecho anteriormente, sin embargo hay que recordar que, para innovar es importante que el cambio realizado constituya una mejora.

WEEK 2
Tendencias pedagógicas
Bienvenidos a este segundo módulo. En esta ocasión se abordarán temas relacionados con las nuevas e interesantes herramientas para desarrollar el proceso de enseñanza y aprendizaje. Para que logres un mejor entendimiento, preparamos tres lecciones diferentes que harán mucho más sencilla y dinámica la forma de explicar los diversos tópicos que componen este módulo de tu curso. Hemos preparado una serie de videos, lecturas, actividades y foros que potencializarán la comprensión del material expuesto.

WEEK 3
Tecnologías emergentes para la innovación educativa
En este módulo conocerás algunas de las competencias digitales que se requieren para mejorar la enseñanza. También identificarás los criterios para analizar las tecnologías emergentes y poder así valorar su utilidad y relevancia en la educación. Por último, te familiarizarás con las etapas necesarias para la implementación de herramientas tecnológicas con fines educativos.

WEEK 4
En este módulo podrás ver cómo la motivación, el apoyo y el aprendizaje de todos los estudiantes conlleva a centrarse en el sistema escolar y en su infraestructura para propiciar más acercamientos con las comunidades, además, la valoración cualitativa y no cuantitativa, busca cuestionar críticamente el prospecto de emprendimiento educativo con el único propósito de identificar los huecos o cuestiones que no se tengan claras aún y así poder solventarlas, complementarlas o definirlas (para lo cual se puede hacer uso de técnicas de creatividad e innovación, dicho sea de paso). Verás cómo las y los emprendedores son personas que asumen el pensamiento de “fuera de la caja” como un estilo de vida. Te invitamos a que continúes con estos interesantes temas.

WEEK 5
Ecosistemas educativos innovadores
Bienvenido a este módulo en el cual estudiarás cómo, a través de programas y actividades específicas en los diferentes niveles educativos, se presentan características similares en diferentes países, aunque el nivel de implantación y desarrollo, su alcance y cobertura y su integración e implementación en la sociedad varían en función del nivel de desarrollo social, económico y tecnológico de cada país, y, por lo tanto, el éxito alcanzado es distinto. Al final del módulo podrás contrastar todos estos aprendizajes para implementarlos con éxito.
