This class explores the concept of layered washes for painting watercolors. Making a small scene in 3 layers of transparent pigment. It requires only some simple watercolor materials, shown in the second lesson of the class.
For this project the student will use the same reference explored in the demonstration by making a print screen of the video or by downloading the jpg file attached here. It's a toy...an airplane, made with a pasteboard box.
And, after drawing it in a watercolor paper, the student will develop a guided painting step by step with the different characteristics of each layer described in the lessons. It's quite fast and very pleasurable.
