Expert Communication for Career Success (Coursera)

We will discuss interaction with colleagues: teamwork, collaborative problem solving, and conflict resolution. We will talk about interaction with superiors: building a relationship with your manager, influencing superiors, and becoming a leader. Finally, we will speak about interaction with subordinates: building your own team, leadership and decision making, and organizing effective meetings. By the end of the course, you will be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers, and be prepared to communicate as a manager with your own team of employees.

Introduction

WEEK 2
Module 1. Introduction
You will watch 3 lectures about working effectively in a team, solving problems collaboratively and resolving conflicts. The module also contains 1 introduction lecture. You will complete 4 assessments to check your learning. To expand your knowledge further, you will be provided with additional materials and optional assessments.

WEEK 3
Module 2: Interaction with superiors
You will watch 3 lectures about building a relationship with your manager, influencing superiors, and becoming a leader. You will complete 4 assessments to check your learning. To expand your knowledge further, you will be provided with additional materials and optional assessments.

WEEK 4
Module 3: Interaction with subordinates
You will watch 3 lectures about creating your own team, organizing effective meetings, and being a decisive leader. You will complete 5 assessments to check your learning. To expand your knowledge further, you will be provided with additional materials and optional assessments.
