Thinking & Acting like an Entrepreneur (edX)

Discover the entrepreneur inside of you – learn what it takes to turn an idea into a real business and how to put this approach to use within your own company. All of today’s well-known companies got started the exact same way: as an idea within someone’s head. While the idea itself is an important prerequisite for success, it was rather what these individuals did with it that enabled them to become the success that they are today. You can learn to think and act like these innovators too.

Critical thinking: reasoned decision making (edX)

Learn to analyze events with intellectual rigor. Identify how reasoned decisions help cope with change. Making decisions in today's world, a world increasing in complexity, with broad changes and uncertainty, creates the need of approaches that allow us to discern the real problems and the causes that create them. Identifying these problems, in most cases, requires challenging the assumptions on which we base our judgments, regarding the world and its realities.

Introduction to Linear Models and Matrix Algebra (edX)

Learn to use R programming to apply linear models to analyze data in life sciences. Matrix Algebra underlies many of the current tools for experimental design and the analysis of high-dimensional data. In this introductory data analysis course, we will use matrix algebra to represent the linear models that commonly used to model differences between experimental units. We perform statistical inference on these differences. Throughout the course we will use the R programming language.
