Na perspectiva da França e do Brasil explicam como a globalização reconstitui as políticas públicas e os comportamentos sociais. Nós estudamos os intercâmbios e as interações entre os atores políticos, econômicos e sociais – públicos e privados, individuais e coletivos – e o modo pelo qual redesenham as relações internacionais. Este curso fundamenta-se nas abordagens da sociologia e da história das relações internacionais.

Nosso mundo globalizado necessita de uma nova abordagem do internacional, rompendo com as teorias clássicas.

A polarização e o multilateralismo são as novas características do sistema internacional após 1945. A primeira encontra-se provavelmente ultrapassada e o segundo, contestado.
O multilateralismo visto do Sul (Carlos Milani)
A crise do multilateralismo reflete a sua pouca funcionalidade para os interesses das grandes potências, podendo conduzir à desconstitucionalização da ordem internacional.
