Do you speak English? (ESL FAQs) (Skillshare)

In this class I'll answer the most frequent questions about the languages. I have answered them many times during my career as an ESL teacher. You will find out what it means to speak a language, what the proficiency levels are, which English variant to choose, etcetera. Besides, you'll reflect on such topics as confidence, motivation and self-discipline.

1) Identify your goal in a foreign language acquisition;
2) Take a language proficiency test (or at least a free online test) to understand your level;
3) Decide why you want/need to speak a language;
4) Try to identify what your psychological barriers are, if any, and think how you can overcome them;
5) Get ready to start, my tips and advice are on their way!
