Este curso forma parte del programa especializado “Haciendo negocios en América Latina” compuesto por 3 cursos en colaboración con La Universidad de los Andes (Colombia) y la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. América Latina es conocida como una región de contrastes. Cada país, sector y mercado que la integra, cuenta con una serie de características socioeconómicas e institucionales diferentes, lo cual a partir de un buen análisis, planeación y estrategia, puede traducirse en una gran oportunidad para llevar a cabo proyectos de negocio e/o inversión.

En este curso, partiendo desde una visión general hasta llegar a una más particular, brindamos la posibilidad de que el estudiante cuente con el conocimiento y las habilidades necesarias para analizar las condiciones actuales de la región, comprender su potencial, así como los retos que la misma representa al evaluar y diseñar la implementación de un proyecto.

What You Will Learn

  • Entenderá la realidad socioeconómica para hacer negocios en América Latina.
  • Identificará y analizará las diferentes estructuras de comercio e inversión de la región.

WEEK 1
Conceptualización básica para la formulación de una estrategia de negocio
A partir de este módulo, te brindamos la más cordial bienvenida a una idea general del conocimiento que debes de adquirir previamente a emprender un negocio en la región de América Latina.
A lo largo de este módulo, conocerás algunas consideraciones o conceptos simples que debes tener en mente al momento de analizar y tomar la decisión de emprender tu proyecto.

WEEK 2
Conociendo a América Latina
En este módulo analizaremos diversos temas relacionados con pobreza, desigualdad del ingreso, comercio internacional, inversión extranjera directa y el rol de China en Latinoamérica. Todos estos factores nos ayudarán a entender mejor la economía de Latinoamérica, lo cual es crucial para poder desarrollar más y mejores negocios en ella. Al finalizar el módulo, el alumno tendrá los recursos para entender de una mejor manera la situación económica de América Latina, lo cual le permitirá detectar áreas de oportunidad sobre diversos tipos de negocios que se podrían generar en la región.

WEEK 3
Entendiendo el marco institucional de los países de América Latina
En este módulo vamos a entender la importancia de las instituciones, el marco institucional y la calidad institucional como un elemento importantísimo para la estrategia de entrada de comercio e inversión a una región o país de América Latina.

WEEK 4
Estrategias Disruptivas para hacer negocios en América Latina
En este módulo se expondrán los elementos de una estrategia de internacionalización.
