Datenbanken bilden die Basis fast aller großen Software-Anwendungen. In Unternehmen, in der Forschung, im Web – überall entstehen riesige Datenmengen, die es gilt sicher zu speichern und die effizient abfragbar sein müssen. In dem openHPI Kurs "Datenmanagement mit SQL" lernen wir die Grundlagen von modernen Datenbanksystemen kennen. Wir untersuchen ihren Aufbau, wir planen den Entwurf von Datenbanken und schließlich lernen wir die weltweit dominierende Anfragesprache SQL kennen. Mittels SQL kann man einfach formulierte aber sehr mächtige Anfragen an eine Datenbank senden.
