Kickstart your Novel, working with a prize winning author. We'll cover how to find ideas and inspiration, and what to do next to grow and develop these into a plan for a novel. We'll look at the way different writers work and how you might go about finding your own writing process, and there'll be advice about the actual writing too. If you've always wanted to write a novel but don't know where to start, this is the course for you.
This project is designed to help you imagine your finished book, which can be a great way to work out what your story is about. You need to decide on a title for your novel and write a blurb for the back of the book. Then you need to find an image that you think would make a good cover. You can take a photo yourself, or draw a picture (basic is fine!) or you can find something via pinterest or image banks online. I’ll show you some useful places to look in one of the video lessons.
