Contexto de Negocios en LATAM: Factores Políticos, Sociales y Económicos (Coursera)

Latinoamérica resulta ser muy atractiva al momento de decidir realizar nuevos negocios, pero en algunos casos este proceso se considera algo distinto a cómo opera el mercado mundial, por lo que es importante conocer algunos elementos que permitan entender de mejor manera este contexto y así definir estrategias más efectivas cuando se piensa comenzar un negocio en esta región.

A través de este curso, los alumnos podrán conocer el contexto social, político y económico en Latinoamérica. Del mismo modo, los alumnos podrán acceder a una comprensión de las industrias que más se han desarrollado y los modelos de negocios que se utilizan en Latinoamérica en comparación con la realidad de otras economías.
La Escuela de Administración de la Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, ha decidido dictar este curso en formato masivo, con el fin de llegar a mayor cantidad de interesados y ser un aporte en la formación de personas que deseen aprender del tema y llegar también a quienes tengan interés de invertir o emprender en este mercado.
La metodología de este MOOC contempla una combinación de videos, ejercicios prácticos y test auto-evaluables, los cuales entregan retroalimentación a los alumnos para que puedan saber su estado de avance en cuanto al aprendizaje esperado. Se dicta en modalidad online, en formato masivo, pudiendo llegar a distintos lugares del mundo a través de la web de Coursera.

WEEK 1
Contexto social y político
El presente módulo da a conocer una breve revisión histórica de los modelos centrales de desarrollo político y económico que se han adoptado en la región.

WEEK 2
Contexto económico
En este módulo se presenta la evaluación del estado de las economías latinoamericanas en los años 2010s y la caracterización de los desafíos que nos impone el acelerado cambio tecnológico reciente en materias de educación, flexibilidad del mercado laboral, eficiencia de las políticas públicas.

WEEK 3
Mercados financieros e industrias relevantes
En este módulo se muestra la composición de los diferentes índices accionarios de las mayores economías regionales en cuanto a principales empresas transadas, mayores sectores y diferencias con mayores sectores del PGB del país.

WEEK 4
Modelos de negocio en Latinoamérica
En este módulo se exponen los conceptos de modelo de negocio, ejemplos de modelo de negocio de empresas chilenas con gran presencia en países de Latinoamérica y diferencias entre los modelos de negocios de algunas empresas Latinoamericanas y sus homólogos de América del Norte.
