Este curso te permitirá ahondar en el contenido de los acuerdos comerciales, su relevancia económica, política y social para el desarrollo, así como su vinculación con el fortalecimiento de las cadenas de valor en los países de la región. Asimismo, conocerás algunas de las herramientas disponibles, como la plataforma ConnectAmericas para que tu micro, pequeña o mediana empresa encuentre oportunidades de negocio en los mercados internacionales.
Las mipymes conforman más del 95% de las empresas de América Latina y el Caribe y, por ello, son consideradas una de las mayores fuentes de empleo en la región. Sin embargo, menos del 15% de ellas exporta o lo hacen hacia muy pocos mercados. Haz que tu empresa salte a la esfera internacional o mejore su competitividad y posicionamiento en el mercado global gracias a este curso.
También aprenderás cómo los ACR impulsan un comercio más inclusivo, simplifican los procedimientos aduaneros, reducen las barreras arancelarias, fomentan el comercio digital y contribuyen a la integración económica regional.

Prerequisites:
Sector privado (dueños y responsables de comercio en las mipymes de la región, que busquen ampliar sus mercados e insertarse en las cadenas regionales y globales de valor).
Sector público (responsables de las políticas de comercio exterior, promoción comercial, facilitación del comercio y atracción de inversiones en ministerios nacionales/estatales).
Academia (personal académico en docencia y administración, así como estudiantes interesados en esquemas de integración).
Otros (personas y organizaciones independientes con interés invertido en el tema).

What you'll learn

  • Reconocer aspectos y contenidos básicos de los acuerdos comerciales regionales (ACR) y su relevancia económica, política y social para el desarrollo.
  • Reconocer la vinculación de los ACR con el fomento de la relocalización de la producción y de cadenas de valor en los países de la región, así como con la atracción de inversión extranjera directa (IED).
  • Identificar las medidas no arancelarias que afectan al comercio de bienes y servicios para comprender de qué manera los ACR las regulan y así no constituyan barreras innecesarias al comercio.
  • Identificar herramientas que permitan a las mipymes aprovechar los beneficios de los ACR a través de la introducción a las diversas disciplinas comerciales, como la facilitación del comercio y el comercio digital.
  • Identificar la vinculación entre los ACR y la agenda de desarrollo sostenible, específicamente objetivos relacionados con comercio inclusivo, igualdad de género, protección del medio ambiente y cambio climático, y derechos laborales.
