On this course from CQ University, you’ll learn the science behind creativity and how you can teach others to be more creative.
Foster your own creative practice
Before you can cultivate creativity in others, you need to understand your own creative process and how creative thinking is developed.
You’ll start by delving into the neuroscience of creativity, using the latest research and insights about how our brains actually work and connecting this to your own process.
By analysing the principles of creativity, you’ll compare convergent and divergent thinking and discover how to think outside the box and foster creative solutions to problems.

Build the skills to teach creativity to others
Innovative and creative thinking is often thought of as a natural gift that can’t be taught, but that isn’t true. Creativity can be nurtured and developed, it just takes the right tools and techniques.
