Nossas boas-vindas ao Curso Teoria dos Jogos: Da Teoria à Prática. Neste curso, você aprenderá que a Teoria dos Jogos é um ramo da Economia que trata da análise da tomada de decisões quando todos os tomadores de decisões são presumivelmente racionais, e cada um procura prever as ações e reações de seus concorrentes. Desta forma, terá subsídios para tomar decisões. Por exemplo, de fazer ou não acordos, desencorajar a entrada no mercado de potenciais concorrentes, de preços quando as condições de demanda e custo apresentam variações ou novos concorrentes entrarem no mercado, dentre outras.

Ao final deste curso, você será capaz de jogar o jogo da estratégia e tomar decisões, levando em consideração que o resultado previsto é a melhor solução para todos os players.
Este curso é composto por quatro módulos, disponibilizados em semanas de aprendizagem. Cada módulo é composto por vídeos, leituras e testes de verificação de aprendizagem. Ao final de cada módulo, temos uma avaliação de verificação dos conhecimentos.

Syllabus

WEEK 1
Fundamentos Básicos
Neste módulo, os temas abordados serão as principais características dos Tipos de Mercados, Modelos e Componentes dos jogos estratégicos.

WEEK 2
Jogos Simultâneos e o Equilíbrio de Nash
Neste módulo, será abordado como os jogadores tomam suas decisões de interação estratégica. Desde jogos que possuam estratégias estritamente dominantes ou não. Será estudado o Equilíbrio de Nash e Simulações de jogos importantes para os negócios.

WEEK 3
Jogos Estritamente Competitivos e Estratégias Mistas: Prevenindo-se do Conflito
Neste módulo, será abordado qual é a melhor forma de se enfrentar uma situação de interação estratégica em que o conflito de interesses é irreconciliável e como pode se evitar que outro jogador me cause uma surpresa desagradável. Será estudado como devemos analisar um jogo sequencial em que algum dos jogadores tenha a possibilidade de decidir conhecendo a decisão do jogador que o antecedeu.

WEEK 4
Ameaças, Desencorajamento à entrada e Leilões
Neste módulo, serão abordadas situações de ameaças vazias e merecedoras de crédito, situações de negociação de jogos competitivos e como desencorajar a entrada de um concorrente. Será estudado os vários tipos de Leilão e como aumentar a probabilidade de o vendedor aumentar sua receita e do comprador adquirir um objeto por um preço razoável.
