This course is about Reading, Listening and Speaking in Russian as a Foreign Language at A2 level. You will learn the grammar contents of A2 level of Russian language and the way of using it in communication. The main difference and advantage of this course is that it combines a systematic view of Russian grammar for A2 level with training and illustrative material for reading, listening and speaking.

In the course, you will find video lectures where the authors explain the A2 grammar logically and clearly. We supported the grammar course by various tasks. These tasks will help you to memorize grammar rules, and help you to improve your listening, reading and speaking skills. The tasks include dialogues that Russians say in different situations. You can listen, repeat them and after that create your own based on our dialogues. We put in our course some interesting texts that later you can discuss with your groupmates. We also suggest you to learn how to speak on various topics. For example, about yourself and your family, how you spend your free time, about your friend, about the city where you live, about a famous person you like.
In our course you have two options to study. You can go from the first lesson till the last, or, if you want, you can choose lessons for study in the order you like best.

What you'll learn
The course is dedicated to learning Russian at the Basic level (A2). If you carefully complete all the tasks at the end of the course you will be able to express easily your ideas in Russian. You will feel confident in different life situations that you have learned at the lessons. We are glad that you have an interest in studying Russian language. We hope that our course turned out to be fun, easy and interesting.
After finishing this course you will:

  1. increase and consolidate your knowledge of Russian grammar
  2. master your skills in reading, listening and speaking
  3. express your thoughts and ideas in Russian
  4. build an intercultural dialogue in the social sphere
  5. enrich your vocabulary by reading texts and dialogs

Syllabus

Unite 1. The Prepositional case.
Unite 2. The Accusative case.
Unite 3. The Dative case.
Unite 4. The Genitive case.
Unite 5. The Instrumental case.
Unite 6. The possessive pronoun " свой ".
Unite 7. The conjunctive word “который” in different cases.
Unite 8. Expression of time in different cases.
Unite 9. Knowledge control

Prerequisites:
You should have an Elementary (A1) level of Russian language proficiency. We remind you that the Elementary level (A1) includes the following parameters: you know about 600 Russian words. Also it is necessary to know how to make forms of nouns in different cases, how to form the present, past and future tense of a verb, how to make a sentence. You should know how to provide information, express a request, suggestion, advice, ask etc.
In our course you can move freely from one unit to another basing on your interests. We tried to make our course clear and simple. Of course, if you have any questions, we are ready to help.
