Fundamentos de la escritura académica (Coursera)

Además de conocer las reglas de ortografía y de redacción, en la elaboración de cualquier texto es necesario considerar otros aspectos tales como el propósito comunicativo, la relación entre emisor y receptor y el tipo de texto. Por medio de ejercicios, videos y ejemplos reales, el primer módulo (Semana 1 y 2) guía al alumno para identificar diferentes tipos de textos y los marcadores textuales que caracterizan a cada uno de ellos. Se hace especial énfasis en textos cuyo principal propósito es informar.

En el segundo módulo (Semana 3 y 4), se profundiza en los textos con propósitos argumentativos. En este sentido, se distingue entre argumentos basados en opiniones, y se practica la estructura del texto argumentativo.
El objetivo de este curso es desarrollar la competencia de comunicación escrita en el nivel de corrección y es la segunda parte de una secuencia de dos MOOC, con la que se prepara para el desarrollo de textos Universitarios.

Syllabus

WEEK 1
Escribir para informar (Parte 1)
En este módulo, aplicarás estrategias de textualización en la redacción de textos académicos informativos, narrativos y argumentativos. Al finalizar, tu preparación te permitirá identificar tipos de textos a partir de sus estructuras y marcadores discursivos, así como aplicar estos conocimientos en la redacción de textos académicos. Al final de esta semana podrás realizar una actividad formativa, la cual te permitirá poner en práctica lo que aprendiste en el curso Fundamentos de la escritura académica. ¡Recuerda que este ejercicio te permitirá reforzar tus conocimientos!

WEEK 2
Escribir para informar (Parte 2)
En este módulo, aplicarás estrategias de textualización en la redacción de textos académicos informativos, narrativos y argumentativos. Al finalizar, tu preparación te permitirá identificar tipos de textos a partir de sus estructuras y marcadores discursivos, así como aplicar estos conocimientos en la redacción de textos académicos.
Como parte principal de esta semana, tendrás la oportunidad de leer las bases e iniciar la Actividad de evaluación entre compañeros. ¡Pon mucha atención a las instrucciones!

WEEK 3
Escribir para argumentar (Parte 1
En este módulo, conocerás las estrategias que te permitirán escribir un texto coherente, cohesionado y adecuado a la situación comunicativa.
Recuerda que esta semana deberás entregar tu actividad de evaluación entre compañeros, por lo que es importante que afines los últimos detalles y envíes tu documento en el apartado correspondiente.

WEEK 4
Escribir para argumentar (Parte 2)
En este módulo, conocerás las estrategias que te permitirán escribir un texto coherente, cohesionado y adecuado a la situación comunicativa. Al finalizar el módulo, serás capaz de planificar un texto académico. Recuerda que esta semana es la última oportunidad para revisar los trabajos de tus compañeros, lo cual es importante para recibir tu calificación.
