Comprender las dimensiones interculturales en la cotidianidad (Coursera)

Este MOOC es el resultado de una co-construcción e investigación de profesoras de la Universidad Sorbonne-Nouvelle Paris 3 y la Universidad de los Andes (Colombia). Su objetivo principal es brindar herramientas para desarrollar dimensiones interculturales en la vida cotidianda. El curso está dirigido a estudiantes y profesionales de diferentes campos más allá de la enseñanza de idiomas (humanidades y ciencias sociales, educación, clínica intercultural, estudios de arte y gestión) que tienen que enfrentar situaciones de la vida cotidiana y de las relaciones con los demás donde las herramientas de reflexión son necesarias para tener un enfoque intercultural.

El/la estudiante de este MOOC desarrollará la capacidad de reflexionar sobre su historicidad (lenguaje, plurilingüismo, filiaciones, afiliaciones, visión cultural) sus identificaciones, su identidad plural (idio-cultural y multicultural); asimismo, se espera que el/la estudiante sea más reflexivo sobre sí mismo y sobre sus discursos en las situaciones complejas que enfrenta. Prestará más atención a todas las formas de alteridad en los discursos, acciones y toma de decisiones que emprenda; aprenderá a construir espacios terceros y asumir el papel de mediador en su interacciones sociolingüísticas y experiencias sociales.

  • Considerar formas de alteridad, construir espacios terceros y jugar el papel de mediador intercultural en interacciones y experiencias sociales.

Syllabus

WEEK 1
Introducción al curso
La interculturalidad a través de la diversidad y el lenguaje
Este módulo propone reflexionar sobre las nociones de diversidad y alteridad como producto de toda experiencia y representación humana y que necesariamente deben ser transmitidas a través de nuestra herramienta de comunicación principal, que es el lenguaje verbal y no-verbal. Por eso es fundamental que te hagas cada vez más consciente de cómo manifiestas aquello que percibes igual o distinto a otros. Se abordarán algunas definiciones de estos conceptos por medio de los recursos y actividades disponibles en el módulo. También explorarás cómo se relacionan con tu vida y tus experiencias bajo las siguientes preguntas: ¿Qué creo que es igual a mí? ¿Qué es diferente a mí? ¿Cómo lo sé? ¿Cómo lo manifiesto? ¿De qué me sirve ser consciente de esto? Este módulo te conectará con los temas abordados en los otros módulos de este MOOC, para lograr comprender la importancia de incluir una consciencia sobre la interculturalidad en nuestra cotidianidad. De esta manera, aportamos a la construcción de sociedades más equitativas y libres en oportunidades y derechos.

WEEK 2
Situaciones de alteridad y dimensiones culturales
Mi intención en este módulo es la de invitarte a explorar, desde el punto de vista de los conceptos y de las prácticas, la diversidad de contextos que tienen lugar en las interacciones entre los individuos y los grupos; las experiencias lingüísticas (bilingües, multilingües y plurilingües) y las experiencias culturales e interculturales. Se trata de reflexionar sobre las formas de educación que son susceptibles y nos permiten entender mejor al hombre plural del cual habla Lahire, (2005); ese individuo en constante movilidad (física y mental); que intenta conciliar por un lado, su aspiración individual de crear su propio camino y, por otro lado, las oportunidades (sociales y profesionales) que ofrecen las sociedades de origen, de transición y de acogida. Deseo promover un espacio de discusión y de construcción colaborativa centrada en las dimensiones interculturales que enfrentan los especialistas y no especialistas de las lenguas y así permitir a los participantes que conviertan la diversidad de historias individuales y colectivas en un vector educativo, en una palanca de cohesión social. Atento a las pruebas formativas y a las experiencias plurales, interculturales de la vida cotidiana, te invito a cuestionar y movilizar sus propios conocimientos, marcos de referencia, valores, posturas éticas y recursos prácticos, con el objetivo no solo de crear, discutir, compartir pero también de construir en cooperación (hoy y mañana) modelos de deconstrucción de la reproducción de injusticias sociales.

WEEK 3
Idioma, hibridez y Terceros Espacios
Este módulo de nuestro MOOC se centra en la noción de terceros espacios y la hibridez en relación con la interculturalidad. El objetivo es ayudarte a reflexionar sobre tus propias reacciones y creencias sobre "el Otro" a la luz de la dimensión intercultural, en la enseñanza y el aprendizaje de idiomas. En particular, se te presentará la noción de Terceros Espacios, en relación con el uso del lenguaje híbrido, ayudándote a llegar a un acuerdo con la noción de diferencia, a través de experiencias de contradicciones y ambivalencia, lo que te llevará a considerar las identidades y los significados híbridos.

WEEK 4
Movilidades interculturales y performatividad de sí mismo(a)
En este módulo nos centraremos en cómo las autobiografías multilingües cuentan el mundo, o más bien el mundo-entero; desglosaremos los conocimientos autobiográficos, teóricos, artísticos sobre la experiencia intercultural; pondremos en sintonía experiencias interculturales y prácticas autobiográficas multimodales.
