An introduction to the fundamentals of music theory and notation.

The Centre for Creative Industries at Box Hill Institute has specifically developed this series of free on-line musicianship studies to assist music students and musicians wishing to expand their theory skills. These on-line lectures are ideal for preparation towards further tertiary studies and musicianship entrance tests. The course will prove invaluable to those musicians wishing to improve this aspect of their creativity.
Each of the six weekly topics will include:

  • Audio/visual lecture including musical examples.
  • Interactive reinforcement quizzes.
  • Podcast.
  • Printable lecture notes.
